About
This is the chronicle of a life after consultancy. A life where one leaves all behind to fight a larger battle.
Where I’ve been.
For the past 3 years, I have been a consultant advising Public Sector clients on Technology Strategy, specifically in operations optimization, and new technologies. I am rejecting this conventionally viewed, highly successful life to pursue a life elsewhere.
Where I am going.
Over the course of this blog, I will be working with a social enterprise called Sarvajal, in Ahmedabad, Gujurat, India. I have no knowledge of the language, the culture, the daily practices of the local community. This is a leap of faith will be done in conjunction with 3 other efforts:
- Writing a book, entitled Perceptual Action – a book on how to grow your life into what you want it, rather than letting the world dictate your life for you.
- Starting my own non-profit organization focused on fostering social entrepreneurship. This is done through the development of a social networking website that brings together idea makers, fund backers, thought enablers, and branding leaders.
- Writing a blog (which you’re reading now) to chronicle my thoughts and concepts over the course of my time working on each of these areas.
This emersion is a mental, spiritual, and physical expereince that I hope you join me by reading.
